NYC Fashion Show

My first real New York City adventure was a trip into the city for a fashion show, sponsored by Her Campus, a company I had worked with in the past. For the event I was a social media correspondent, which means I got behind the scenes access to the entire show, and VIP treatment. Two of my roommates, Rachel and Athena, came with me for the show. It was really cool to show them what I do for a living, and what I would like to do for the rest of my life.

During the event I was in charge of the company's Instagram story, a new feature similar to Snapchat through your Instagram account. I was in charge of showing off all the sponsors and the show itself, and it was interesting to see how their 50,000+ followers responded to my take on the show. The next day I even received an email from one of the events coordinators of the event, thanking me for covering the show, and saying how impressed they were with my take on the show. It was a lot of fun to see how a fashion show works, and how much work it takes to make everything perfect.
